Making a difference one cat at a time!
One cat at a time is a registered Canadian charity whose main mission is to help orphaned or sick kittens. We mostly take in kittens in need of intensive veterinary care or motherless kittens that need to be bottle fed. We offer the very last chance to kittens who, without our help, would be euthanized. Our slogan: Making a difference one cat at a time, one miracle at a time!

March
A new year begins, and One Cat at a Time has many projects in the making! The organization is already celebrating its 7th anniversary! Time flies when you're having fun saving lives!
It's already tax time!
If you made a monetary donation of $20 or more to our organization in 2024, you can apply for a tax receipt! The deadline is May 15, 2025.
We need volunteers!
Our team would like to grow. Make a difference to our protégés by volunteering at home!

Blizzard & Guimauve
Our beautiful duo is up for adoption! Blizzard and Guimauve were rescued from a farm when they were 3 months old. They were sick and fearful. They've been with us for over a year now and are so sweet. They deserve a forever family. Ideally, we'd like to adopt them together, but we'd be open to separate adoptions if the family already has a cat at home because they need a feline friend.
Our latest rescues
The adorable Pixie was abandoned in a clinic, as she needed surgery with a specialist and her life was in danger. The cost of the surgery was expensive and Pixie was surrendered. We took her in as our protégé so that she could receive veterinary care and avoid euthanasia!
Beautiful Mabel was abandoned at a clinic on December 31 at night, as she needed urgent surgery due to a foreign body and her family coudn't afford the care she needed. We agreed to save Mabel from euthanasia, and she underwent surgery to remove a piece of hair elastic from her stomach! She's now recovering at her foster family.
